The most anticipated and most exciting event on our annual Adult Glee Club calendar has got to be Glee Goes Solo Show. And for the first time ever, we are making it a more family friendly afternoon affair.
This year's 2020 Glee Goes Solo will see Gleeks performing songs from STAGE AND SCREEN! Yep, that includes Musical Theatre. But for now, we've had to put it on hold until it's COVID safe.
THE BACKGROUND
In 2018 we ran an Aussie theme. In 2019 we allowed free choice. This year, we know the crooners and musical theatre wannabes are going to come out of the woodworks.
If you can brave 5 minutes to be on stage by yourself or with a friend or small group of Gleeks, then we suggest you take the plunge and sing at Glee Goes Solo 2020. All performers will need to fill in the form below and ensure you have provided us with as much information as possible to make co-ordinating rehearsals and the night, a little smoother.
GLEE GOES SOLO is open to past alumni Gleeks, current Gleeks and new or future Gleeks.
The event is held annually around August/September at our resident venue Lazybones Lounge, 294 Marrickville Rd, Marrickville Rd. Cost will be $20 at door which goes towards putting on the event and cost of musicians, rehearsals etc. Performances expected to start from 1:30pm - 4:30pm with a guest support act.
